香港恒生大學的歷史可追溯至1980年，由何善衡慈善基金會，何添慈善基金會，大昌貿易行，若干恒生銀行創辦人及恒生銀行慷慨捐資成立 恒生商學書院，并于2010年根據《專上學院條例》（第320章）注冊成為非牟利私立學位頒授學院，改名為恒生管理學院。其后于2018年10 月底，經嚴格的院校評核后，獲香港特區政府批準正名為「香港恒生大學」。

矢志成為一所優質并在區內具領導地位的私立大學，香港恒生大學在香港高等教育界扮演著一個獨特和重要的角色。香港恒生大學由五個學院 組成（包括商學院，傳播學院，決策科學學院，人文社會科學學院和翻譯學院），現有約5,000名全日制學生及約200名全職教師。

香港恒生大學提供多個四年制滎譽學士學位課程及碩士學位課程。部分課程為全港首創。所有課程均獲香港學術及職業資歷評審局審批認可， 并獲得香港特別行政區政府及內地政府認可。

? A bachelor's degree in science, technology, engineering, business or related disciplines from a recognized university; and

? Fulfilment of one of the following English language proficiency requirements if the applicant's bachelor's degree was not obtained from a university/tertiary institution where English is the medium of instruction.
